Beginning December 8, F and M trains will permanently swap routes between Manhattan and Queens from approximately 6 am to 9:30 pm on weekdays.

This change will provide faster, more reliable service to the 1.2 million riders who take the E/F/M/R trains every day.

Take a look at the new Webster Avenue Bridge in Manhasset—safe, modern, and climate-resilient.

Our team recently completed work to replace the 128-year-old bridge, installing catch basins and a new drainage system, as well as rebuilt the adjacent roadway, sidewalks, and retaining walls.

FDNY EMS safely transported the baby and parents to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens with the help of MTAPD Officers Sam Vira and Brian Gilligan. Congratulations to their family and well done, officers!

Miracle on the Whitestone! Around 4 p.m. on Monday, members of the MTAPD Highway Unit, Sgt. Joseph Casale and Officer Eric Li, were flagged down by a motorist whose wife was in labor on the side of the bridge roadway.

They helped deliver a healthy baby girl!
