OMG I’m glad they are supposedly not patrolling the SB. But what a low bar of success this represents.. when we essentially celebrate when a rouge agency doesn’t do something this heinous.

Very sad. Unfortunately, on AI, so many colleges and universities are joining in the giddy, exuberant rush to conflate ‘the inevitable’ with ‘the good’ on AI. it’s not that simple. Some AI in research I could understand; but NOT the LLM generative chatGPT swallowing everything spinoffs…

The courts patience is at an end. True dat, but when has any middling judges opinion recently actually held in the sense it translated to the actionable change they advocated? Ultimately SCOTuS swoops in and saves the day for the Home Team. So far.

Trump still really means “people not on our side.. can’t have guns in public”. When I think of it, if all of us could simply be decent, kind people to each other, it wouldn’t matter who had what. And of course, the net amount of weaponry flashed about would almost certainly decrease, organically.
