Football, music, photography, films and TV. With the odd rhyming couplet thrown in for no good reason.
Just when you thought Premier League refereeing couldn't get any worse, up steps, Michael Salisbury.

What an absolutely ridiculous game of football.

Good morning from the frozen wastes of South East Northumberland.

Just want to say Lewis Miley, that is all.

Weather update: I've just been out walking the dog and it's bastard Baltic.
The wind cuts through you like a freshly forged claymore.

A good result in the end, but why do they insist on making it so difficult for themselves? particularly after such a great start.

The person who coined the phrase, "taking the dog for a walk," obviously never owned a headstrong labrador.

So from today the days get longer and the nights get shorter, thank the lord.

A word for today's referee ABYSMAL. The standard of officiating has been on the decline for a while but this season it has dipped alarmingly.

Yet another draw that feels like defeat. Should have been home and hosed at half time.

May I extend my apologies to those patrons in row H of the East Stand who I disturbed on my way for a piss after 87 minutes. In my defence, I was convinced it was going to pens, and there was no way I'd have lasted, but thanks to Lewis Miley I even managed to catch a couple in the Irish club after.
December 18, 2025 at 12:04 AM
That was totally unacceptable.

And like an arthritic dog walker, Newcastle United fail to hold on to a lead again.
December 10, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Many more days like this, and I'm building an ark.
December 9, 2025 at 11:20 AM
I'll take the result, obviously, but I struggle to understand when we are in total of control of a game how we are incapable of closing it out without late drama.
December 6, 2025 at 8:05 PM
That's more like it
November 29, 2025 at 7:46 PM
That was a tad disappointing, to say the least.

Say 'Black Friday' again. Say 'Black Friday' again, I dare you, I double dare you motherfucker, say Black Friday one more Goddamn time!
November 25, 2025 at 2:25 PM
I'll take that

If the Russians ever wanted to invade, they wouldn't need conventional weapons. They could just wait until the first cold snap of winter when the country has been rendered imobile by a light dusting of snow and march straight in.

RIP Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield.

I'm not sure who is advising on Labour policy, but if they seriously believe aping Reform is going to attract Reform voters, I have some magic beans to sell them.

Howe still has plenty of credit in the bank and no true supporter is calling for his head but serious questions need to be asked about his in game management. Some of his decisions are bizarre, to say the least.
November 9, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Didn't need to be Nostradamus to predict the outcome of that one.
