Wonder why all these EOs are being crammed down everyone’s throats with gutting federal agencies? Desperation to reduce spending to offset new tax cuts for the top 1%. The CR expires on 3/14, the tax cuts for the billionaires from the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 are due to sunset in March.

So many of my employees across the country are under weather related office closures, but guess what? They are still working & being productive because…telework! Go ahead, take it away & see services/productivity go down in winter months & hurricane season.

1. Recognizing MLK day & his many contributions.
2. Listened to Bob Marley
3. Meal prepping for the week.
4. Continued work on redecorating guest bedroom.
What I didn’t do today is turn on the TV, nor did I watch any coverage of the inauguration on social media.

Did you know the federal government is required to fund 40% of special education costs for school districts? In 2023/2024, our district covered $18mill in SPED costs, Fed govt contributed only $1.6mill, NOT meeting 40%! The diff is then covered by Gen funds = no raises, less funds for programs.

Almost half of my employees are currently experiencing a snow storm. They’re assigned offices are all closed but they’re all online, working & being productive. Business did not stop due to weather. This is remote work.
