Been debating whether to buy and read this before I go to Poland next month. Would you recommend? (Probably the wrong phrase, but you get the idea)

They were allies to the extent that we shipped supplies via Arctic convoys Inc weapons, food, Aircraft etc. & lost countless personnel in doing so. Opening 2nd front certainly aided SU on the eastern front, however Allies in the current modern sense, maybe not, more mutually beneficial cooperation?
