Okay, so I've had three respiratory infections in the last three months, one with bonus secondary infection that needed antibiotics. I have a toddler, I work in a school and I simply don't make the white blood cells that are supposed to be my first line of defense for the lining of my insides. Yay?

I am so greatful for my job. The fact that I get to help out and educate teenagers is amazing. I can't say enough good stuff about LA County DPH's Wellbeing Center program.

My wonderful sibling came to visit and left hair all over the tub. Considering how much effort (and how many testosterone shots) it took to get that level of fuzz, I'm honestly just proud.

Accidentally laughed in a lady's face today when i suggested the woefully understaffed CVS we were in should hire more employees and she said "nobody wants to work anymore" with absolute sincerity.
After shocking her with a cackle, i replied with "you mean nobody wants to be exploited anymore."

Today at work i was pretty nonstop, but the highlight was that a 12th grader stopped in at lunch to teach me how to make bead lizards. My toolkit has expanded and my craft therapy powers grow evermore.

A lot of people who got the measles as children died or suffered lifelong disabilities as a result. The measles vaccine was a godsend to worldwide public health, and it’s an absolute scandal that this lethally ignorant dolt has any power over public health.
