A coalition of writers, illustrators, editors & other book creators, standing united against the unconstitutional movement to limit the freedom to read. We support the availability of diverse voices in our libraries, in our schools, & in our culture. We pledge to band together against the oppression of literature, to speak when our voices are silenced, to go where our bodies are needed, & to fight to ensure this freedom.

Our concern is not only for the books, but for the children, families, educators,
librarians, & communities who suffer when the freedom to read is challenged and taken away.

WHAT CAN AABB OFFER YOU?
- Regional groups working on legislation to protect authors & the freedom to read state-by-state
- Online trainings on digital security, public speaking, & how to counter book challenges in your community
-Affinity groups for BIPOC authors, queer authors, authors with disabilities, indie, nonfiction, romance writers & more

Genuinely a neat topic but they did completely flub the delivery in a way that really discounted the existing technical knowledge of knitting. Really came across as scientists found a use for grandma's hobby

I deleted the post but the sci show that was removed was about knitting techniques being used in 3d printing. Its a cool topic, but between a lot of inaccurate and incorrect info and the vid presenting the tech as "scientists have found a use for knitting"

WG is a forum where you can discuss at length tv, movies, books, new releases, metatextual topics, post and discuss art, post tutorials etc, read up in threads, which will not just vanish but stick around for a bit. try it!

I like discord, but i just cannot keep up with multiple group chats. Its too much for my brain.
Forums are nice because the pace is so much slower and there isnt an obligation to immediately respond

I am so fed up with how this site continues to ban minorities. There are so many cases of Palestinian, black, and trans accounts being banned.
And then we have the CEO being glib and antagonistic to the point of deleting criticism from popular accounts
