NEW ONLINE! A Viewpoint calls for menstrual cycle data to be documented in health records. www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...
In adolescence and early adulthood, menstrual cycle characteristics are indicators for health conditions, physiological changes, behaviours, and environmental exposures. After menopause, previous menstrual cycle characteristics are associated with health outcomes in middle and late adulthood. Key menstrual cycle characteristics include menstrual cycle length and regularity and menstrual bleeding duration and volume.
