Our reopened Sellwood-Moreland #library hosts new and improved amenities! These upgrades include:

- Larger and more roomy kids area
- Modern self checkout stations
- New reading room chairs
- More places for power and charging devices
- New meeting room tables and chairs

Today I voted for Multnomah County to distribute $100,000
in emergency funds to assist families who have lost
#SNAP benefits.

These funds will go to local organizations working tirelessly to provide assistance to our community.

Multnomah County’s Preschool for All is enrolling 240 new kids while the federal government shutdown is suspending Head Start spots.

Unlike Head Start, there are no income limits to apply for Preschool for All. Learn more at pfa.multco.us.

- 10/31/2025: Programming and storytimes stop.
- 11/20/2025: Holds will not be sent to NW Library and NW Library will not be available for pickup.
- 11/25/2025: NW Library closes.

1 in 5 Multnomah County residents will lose SNAP benefits November 1st. Our neighbors are scared they will not be able to feed their families.
President Trump can and should release contingency funds that guarantee SNAP benefits. Fund #SNAP now. Anything less is cruelty. #MultCoD1

Late tonight, a federal judge issued a sweeping new order prohibiting the president from deploying any National Guard forces—from any state or DC—to Oregon.

The president cannot keep playing whack-a-mole with different states’ Guard units to get around court orders and the rule of law.
