Short, rumpled Scotsman. Has a terrible pain in all the diodes down his left hand side.
Not on social media as much as he used to be but if he is, it will be occasional writing and a lot of stupid bollocks.

#Teavent Day 7 is Spiced Chai. Another spiced black tea but this time with a glorious aroma of cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
Not as good as a quality chai from your favourite curry restaurant but still zingy and nice.

Good morning and a very happy Sea Devil Sunday to all who celebrate.
Rando Who side project The War Between The Land And The Sea starts tonight but there's also an unnecessary omnibus of The Sea Devils on the iPlayer if you can't be arsed with the original six episodes.

#Teavent Day 6, and it's Earl Grey (Hot, as some baldy norbert said).
An enjoyable standard even if I never quite know how to say Bergamot/Bergamo/Bergamalamaramadingdong.

#Teavent Day 5 is English Rose. A standard English black tea with rose in it.
As a rule, I'm not a fan of rose in food, which I blame on the White Witch of Narnia and her Turkish Delight.
Here it gives a nice smell but an odd sweet taste, like I've used out of date sweetner.

#Teavent Day 4 is Spice Imperial. A spiced black tea with a glorious aroma. The tea is a standard black with a nice bit of spicy warmth. Ideal for a chilly morning.

#Teavent Day 3 is a Classic Green Tea.
A nice, light aroma and a simple flavour from what is, allegedly, a single source tea. Uncomplicated and refreshing.

#Teavent Day 2, and we have tea!
Just a standard English Breakfast, but we've got to start somewhere.
As lovely as yesterday's infuser looks, it's tiny and difficult to get the tea into. Also gets a bit lost in my mug so I might move to a pot tomorrow.
A decent, straight forward tea. Will add milk.

It's that great time of year when we all get to 'vent and this year I am again on a #Teavent , but this time loose leaf from Whittards.
For day 1, a lovely box with a dinky teapot infuser but No Tea.
No Tea!
I feel like I'm in the Hitchhikers text adventure.

Who the fucking hell are Slipknot?
Who the fucking hell are Slipknot?

In relation to me getting out of bed.

Blimey! Do you know how spectacular it has to be for the Guardian to even admit Scotland plays sport?

Good morning, just realised the picture above the bed is of the destroyed Brighton Pier.
Welcome to the room for derelicts and the abandoned.

Had a swatch round a local holiday home. A bit much for a week by the sea, I'm thinking.

Wrote a story once about fairy cakes set in the completely made up village of Saltdean. Went for a run this morning and found it.
A bit worried I conjured it out of the air by the power of my mind.

A laptop and my inoculation against all that Englandshire I'm about to travel through.

Public told to stay indoors and remain calm! Police are deploying their highly trained anti-fruit squad, headed by Strawb McKenzie. Further updates at eleven.

A quality night out yesterday in the dingy basement of Nice and Sleazy's to see Warrington-Runcorn New Town Development Plan with support from Isa Gordon and Kinbrae.
Many loops, much squelchy synth noises and entertainingly distracting new town promotional videos.

Arranged our covid and flu jags yesterday. Led to a shitty night of aches and limited sleep, but I did get this boss sticking plaster featuring Mr. Bump. A definite win.

And this differs from my National Insurance Number (that I have on a card) how, exactly? After all, that's issued by the Government and I shouldn't be able to get paid for work without it.

Too many to choose from but based on what I could find a GIF for and because I got it in a story this year, a favourite black and white film.

This morning: Run to Wales in rain heavy enough to make my shoes squelch.
This afternoon: Racing to eat ice cream in the sun before it melts.
Thanks a lot, The Weather.
