in fairness to me, the sudden sound of children's laughter and low fidelity cheerful music at night in a carpark when you're not expecting it is objectively deeply unsettling

also insidious, which was the first horror film i saw in the cinema. i say "saw" but i watched most of it thru tears and my boyfriend's tshirt. also on the way home that night we stopped at asda... it had one of those coin-operated rides outside which jumpscared me and i started bawling my eyes out
