Glad it made you laugh - if you haven't already, look up his voice actor, the cameos (paid video responses) he makes for people lately are full on dramas. Always makes me chuckle to see those labors of love on my feed.

I can almost hear the internal rant:

"Aye, I did not drink six coffees just to witness this incompetence in person, a report would have been enough. No, Spite, we cannot just tell them that, that would be rude. What do you mean my face is already telling, I'm an assassin, I mask perfectly."

Third one is giving "I'm too tired for this sh*t" and such a mood 😂

Nothing serious, that's just how Dark Fantasy Romance books are sometimes lol

100%

I know I'm a little sensitive because I work with words for a living in my own way.

Fiction writing feels a lot harder than my usual copy though; making dialogue feel natural on paper is like a final boss.

Just makes you appreciate authors that "just get it" (and their editors) even more!

...descriptions feeling out of place. Fixation on some details, neglect of others, those kinds of shenanigans.

Really reminds you that books as a final product are actually team efforts, too. To reduce friction and make for a smoother read, add structure where needed.

Just a thought, no CTA here.

Only thing I know is that you can get a pass when it's shown in a historic context, like in The Berlin Apartment.
