I hold that story very close to my heart, but I've never come across this part of its history before. Time to find a copy to read!

Today I learnt about the actual, canonical sequel to 101 Dalmatians.

Every single paragraph of the synopsis makes me feel like I've lost my mind a little bit more.

I am so sad that this never got a film adaptation.

Bonus points for even flavoring the response with in universe reasoning.

Peak community management!

Someone knew about the Hasbro partnerships in advance, did the math on what assumptions would be made regarding Magic, was aware of the community sentiment towards one particular IP, and successfully pitched to PR and Legal that any questions need to be answered quickly.

Thank you for using alt text, btw!

This conversation is SO important, and accessibility of the info for those using screen readers is so valuable!

And reading between the lines, it reads like corporate speak โ€œabsolutely fucking not, weโ€™re not going anywhere near that.โ€

Yeah I read up on it a little yesterday, apparently it derives bacteria of water through osmosis. The more you know.

I hate that "trend" so much; at best, you have a bad tattoo, at worst you land in the hospital and can actually die from blood poisoning. Not worth it, go to professionals.
February 9, 2026 at 9:35 PM
Both things are also called "body art" for a reason!

Honestly, tattoos were intimidating at first, but after having so many it becomes routine - keep it clean and don't let it dry out, then you're basically good.

Piercings on the other hand are fickle beasts: how your body reacts seemingly depends on its mood. Some heal quickly, some are like this ๐Ÿคท

Ha xD I'd wager my username already does that trick.

Sitting here for the recommended 20min, I am suddenly reminded of the fact that I also was given hydrogen peroxide for my piercing problems before... you can imagine how that felt.

People say that piercings are for masochists, but I doubt they meant the aftercare ๐Ÿ˜‚

You know the saying "rubbing salt into the wound"?

Turns out to be an at home remedy for piercings bumps, at least according to my piercer.

Hurts as much as you would expect from the idiom ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm totally just participating in fandoms to become a better Community Manager, and not because I'm obsessed with a fictional character... erm, the creative bond it creates between people. Fanart and fanfiction are some of the best things to come from the internet ๐Ÿ’š

Using GenAI to write or make art is putting yourself in a market with massive supply and very little demand. You turn yourself into an interchangeable commodity and expose yourself to deskilling. Taking the easy way out is ultimately ruinous to you and your peers.

Glad it made you laugh - if you haven't already, look up his voice actor, the cameos (paid video responses) he makes for people lately are full on dramas. Always makes me chuckle to see those labors of love on my feed.

I can almost hear the internal rant:

"Aye, I did not drink six coffees just to witness this incompetence in person, a report would have been enough. No, Spite, we cannot just tell them that, that would be rude. What do you mean my face is already telling, I'm an assassin, I mask perfectly."
