I get it but I really dislike the "the political climate is tense" phrasing the same way I don't like the "Gaza war" phrasing - we're foregoing that one side is people who want to live and the other side is people who have more power and both the means and intent to destroy and harm.

...got to me in my highschool years and never really left; whenever a gap in my schedule opened up, it was honestly dedicated to just sleeping/crashing out in order to recharge energy and braincells fast enough to continue onwards.
