Ok Swifties, question re: Taylor's versions. My 4yo just discovered that she loves her work and I've been putting those on her playlist. If I'm not streaming them for myself and there's no money in it, can I still personally prefer the original mixes of the few songs I do know?

Pokemon Pocket problems: what I NEED is one (1) copy of Gengar to finish out my Mewtwo theme deck. What I HAVE is four (4) copies of Gengar EX that don't count. Implement the trade function already!

I wish there was a Pokemon Pocket equivalent for mtg. Not Arena, because I don't care as much about playing, but I enjoy the collecting vibes.

Started reading The Expanse (book one: Leviathan Wakes). Don't know what exactly I had been expecting, but it's quite a bit better than that. No plans to watch the show yet, probably not until I'm done reading everything.

My 4 year old just asked how many weeks it was until the 1800s, and when I dumbfoundedly explained that they already happened a long time ago, she let out the most disappointed and crestfallen "Oh." I think I've ever heard in my life.

I've never blood eagled anybody, and I try to live the sort of life where I'll never have to, but I just spatchcocked a turkey for the first time and you can't convince me it's different.

For a long time now, I've subscribed to the belief that the truest metric of the strength of the American economy is how many pierogies come in this box. Usually it's 13 or 14.

Feels a lot different to pay off a car loan in full when it *doesn't* represent a tremendous chunk of your income. I'm not let down exactly, but I feel like I should be more pleased?

Pause for lunch time aside, I think I've found a decent balance for my focus between D3 and writing. Had a couple of scenes poop into my head unbidden, so that definitely helps.

Man, Attack on Titan already starts off at like 12/10 intense, but once you get up into the 50s on episode count and learn about Marley and Eldia....woof.

Given that my only exposure is via the main feed here, how long until I'm a Swiftie by association? Feels like every third post I see is related to that fandom. I'm happy they have what seems like a pretty decent community, but it's not really my scene.

Future me will probably vehemently deny this in the moment, but Present me is low key looking forward to making the Thanksgiving meal this year. Gonna try to get a little fancy. Like spatchcocking the bird and making my own stock fancy.

So I had mentioned the possibility of getting back into writing, and figured I have all these generators I've converted over to Google Sheets so I don't need to carry physical copies around. What if I just use those for prompts? Also, since I just picked up Stardew Valley I basically have to do this

Econ question! I have a Forester I'm close to paying off and want to buy a new Camry because I really don't like the Subaru because reasons. If the Camry is made in the US, would that be subject to any ridiculous short-sighted poorly-conceived tariffs any federally elected felon might implement?
