I believe the thought process was that the climate lobby would actually have a negative impact on Rs and since they have majority, some sort of “energy abundance” strategy would be better. Now we can argue that they still basically gutted everything so was that really an effective strategy?

Well, he ran as a democrat. And this was a democratic primary. And all voters were democrats. So, that is why it’s a mandate for democrats. I don’t really care how the establishment Dems feel about it.

The abundance agenda would tell me we don’t make places like this in the US due to those pesky environmental regulations and prevailing wage requirements. Those are things that France definitely doesn’t have… Right?
