Interesting how the abundance agenda took over Dem messaging so quickly. ~2/3 of 2024 home sales weren’t new builds, so zoning isn’t the main issue. Prices are way past 2008 levels. Here in Colorado, many homes have doubled or more.

The real problem is investors turned housing into a commodity.
Home ownership is a cornerstone of the American dream. I'm fighting to make that dream possible again.

DOE's study of resource adequacy across the US (as required by Trump's reliability executive order) is out. They're ignoring most of the planned and potential new build when concluding that the grid faces big reliability risks.
Love to model rapidly growing demand and retirement of aging generators while ignoring 1) the resources utilities are planning to meet their resource needs and 2) most of the massive pipeline of projects under development: www.energy.gov/sites/defaul...

“It’s as good as it’s gonna get.”

New republican slogan just dropped
Jim Jordan: "I think we probably got as good of a product as we're going to get ... it's best if we just pass this and get moving and keep moving."

We could make nice places like this in the US. We just don't.
This new Paris neighbourhood is VERY good. Clichy-Batignolles (former rail yard), 1 of many transformations at Metro transit stations around the city. Dense+mixed (urban IKEA, grocery store, schools, jobs etc), diverse (50% public housing, 20% middle class rental), 1/3rd beautiful park, 20k people.

We are losing to China in a competition for the future.

Instead of producing energy smarter, the U.S. is defunding cleaner, safer, and cheaper energy.

So the way to make America great is to fall behind???

Make it make sense.

Autism is not a disease. Let alone an infectious one. Calling autism an epidemic is both disgusting and incorrect. Anyone that helped this man find power should feel ashamed.

And this is why ecological sustainability and capitalism inherently cannot coexist. There will always be a profit motive, down to the last drop of water.
“a 3 degree warming scenario, the analysts determined, could more than double the growth rate of the $235 billion [air conditioner] market every year, from 3 percent to 7 percent until 2030”
