WATCH: The gloves are off! It’s been an under-reported scandal for quite a while that Pierre Poilievre refuses to apply for security clearance. It was a scandal EVEN BEFORE the most recent efforts to undermine Canada’s democracy, sovereignty and economy from Trump, Musk and the GOP.

Wow, the American right wing-owned National Post newspaper here in Canada sure wants you to not like Mark Carney today. It’s no surprise — as usual, they’re not being subtle about their bias.

That’s ok. Makes me even more sure he’s the right candidate to beat Pierre Poilievre. #CanadaStrong

Yes it feels strange to post this much about “politics.” I don’t really like doing it. But what’s happening isn’t politics. It’s far worse than we’re letting ourselves contemplate. You may just want to hear about city-building but we all have a moral obligation to speak out about what they’re doing.

They say “We can’t do that. We’re not Amsterdam.” You reply “Amsterdam wasn’t always like that either” and show before & after transformations illustrating how the cities we admire made CHOICES, and changed. They try new excuses. You don’t accept them either. (1e van der Helststraat, 1978 & 2005)
