It took us four minutes longer than usual to walk up the hill today because the light was so incredible that we kept stopping to take pictures.

What the Puyallup River carried away has washed up on our shore, and the Puget Sound is muddy with runoff.
Not complaining, though. We’re very very lucky not to have experienced king tide flooding.
