Doing what I can to facilitate the return of democracy.

As a society we largely gave up on exploration, curiosity, artistic expression, and kindness, and accepted the dehumanizing premise that the only value that matters is economic value. Acceptance of that dehumanization led directly to every one of grim situations we’re facing now.

I am pleased to announce that I have commandeered my neighbor's home. This home will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, to ensure it is used to benefit my neighbor and me! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Five years ago, we watched a violent mob try to overturn an election. We don’t honor democracy by forgetting that day. We honor it by defending the truth, strengthening institutions, and refusing to normalize political violence.

Let us not forget:
Impeachment isn't just for presidents. It applies to vice presidents, cabinet members, federal judges, and other civil officers, to enforce accountability and remind power it is conditional, not absolute.

Midterms can't come soon enough. We need to get to work! ✊

In a lawless administration, reminders to obey the law are rather unwelcome. So Mark Kelly must be punished for not fitting in by obeying the rules.

The Urgent Care parking price model is exactly backwards. Breeze in and out in less than an hour? Sure, I’ll throw you a couple bucks. Make me hang around the waiting room for three hours? Parking should be free. Make me wait another hour in the exam room? You should be paying ME two bucks.

If you have to remind people “we are the good guys” that’s a pretty good sign you’ve stopped doing good guy stuff
Fetterman on Fox & Friends: "America is a force of good, order, and democracy. And we are promoting these kinds of values. We are the good guys."

Smart fridges are smart for the same reason everything else is smart: at some point, the company wants to be able to make them stop working if you don’t upgrade to a paid subscription model. Yeah, no thanks. I’ll take the dumbest fridges you got.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

The same thing we do every day, Rhonda. Take our power to reign in a lawless Executive Branch and throw it away with both hands.
Jack Smith has just reconfirmed the fact that trump has committed treason against this country!!! Congress what do you plan to do now?!?!

getting a variety of people who want to blame Democratic leaders for this and with due respect that is a completely insane reaction to the Republican President trying to incite pogroms

To the haters who have called my writing “AI-like” for “overuse of the em dash,” I present this sentence by the great Jane Austen:

“My dear, dear Lizzy, I would — I do congratulate you — but are you certain — forgive the question — are you quite certain that you can be happy with him?”

Imagine my shock when I go to draw my diabetes med up for the week only to discover the pharmacy shorted the prescription I paid $300 for by 1.65ml! I needed .75 & there was only .35 left. Day 1 with no health insurance & I am already getting fucked. Turning my feelings into felonies here I come.

2026 is about affordable homeownership. No more "policy" this year. Feed the local fauna, befriend them, and then use them to overpower homeowners so you can occupy their dwellings.

Watching dogs tonight, and I have to say the frenzied intermittent bouts of noise as a squeak-toy meets its demise are really adding uh, something, to the movie-watching experience.
