Yea, I'm just speculating because I don't know what's in the agreements. But, it made me wonder if this was something specific about fbref or if it's a wider effort to remove public data in favor of whatever this new betting data platform is going to be

I've seen others say this too, but FOTMOB's stats are still up. Shouldn't any deal that impacts FBREF impact that too?

It would help this person's argument if they listed things protesters could agitate for...we've sanctioned Iran heavily, are threatening bombings in support of the protesters. What could people advocate for?

They were calling for better training of ICE agents before any of this happened. Any politician calling for more training is one that agrees with what's happening in the abstract, not one that recognizes the problem and wants real reform.

My gut says that this is the reason any campaign he runs isn't won't resonate with voters. No one is asking for this, and he clearly doesn't have his pulse on things.
I personally dislike Rahm, and would hate him as a dem nominee, but I don't spend time thinking about him because of this.

I agree here, a police force that does things they best handle, and doing it in an equitable way is part of the solution.
"Police shouldn't have 70% of a cities budget" isn't incompatible with, "our police should be responsive to community needs, and operate in an equitable, non-racist way."

Yes, and, this happens all the way down to traffic cameras. There's a certain person that would rather have police enforce traffic violations, because cameras don't care about who is driving the car

Defund the police was always a pretty reasonable position. It's absolutely frustrating that the ideas of community safety and policing are linked in the minds of so many liberals and people that close their eyes to politics
