Now this Administration is shooting unarmed mothers in their cars? Their cruelty knows no bounds. We need a full investigation immediately, and based on what I saw in the video — somebody must be brought to justice.

It’s important to contextualize just how much less safe American drivers are than everywhere else in the world, and it’s getting worse!

This appalling, isn't the point of a Real ID that it's proof of lawful status?
Bovino, the man overseeing mass deportations, publicly declared that we must all have our papers on us, at all times, or we could be stopped, harassed, kidnapped, and detained, as they did with the man in this case, who is a US citizen.

I seriously have no idea why you’d hire Pat Fitzgerald. He wasn’t a playcaller or strategic mind, his whole schtick was selling Northwestern Culture because he played there, and then it turns out that culture featured a brutal atmosphere of sexual hazing

I will support any candidate that proposes to do The Beekeeper in real life
nah just promise to do THE BEEKEEPER in real life on the people stealing granny's money bsky.app/profile/sout...
Problem is, if they did that, they would have to become anti-capitalist, because capitalism at the end of the day is one huge scam. Owners steal the surplus value produced by workers and enrich themselves, which then is used to reshape society through laws, regulations, advertising and PR.

Sen Kelly wants to be president and is widely seen as boring, safe, and non-confrontational. Combined with the administration's lack of success in vendetta cases. No way this isn't good for his career.

Ok I had no idea the Edmund Fitzgerald was a contemporary thing for the song, this is like his Toby Keith 9/11 song but about transporting taconite pellets

Twenty-nine sailors drowned when the Edmund Fitzgerald went down in the Great Lakes' icy waters on Nov. 10, 1975. The ship was immortalized in a surprise hit 1976 folk ballad by Gordon Lightfoot.

Legal or not, it's very clear now that Trump isn't going to pay some federal workers.
Breaking news: The Trump administration is sending messages to federal staff suggesting only those who are working during the government shutdown will be paid when it ends, despite a 2019 law that guarantees pay to furloughed employees, too.
Administration hints furloughed workers may not be paid after shutdown
Agencies are sending messages indicating that workers who are on the job will be paid when the government reopens — with no mention of those on furlough, despite a 2019 law protecting their wages.

My mom's college roommate is also my aunt. It's insulting the things people think they can turn into scandals. And anyone out there pretending it is one is just a bigot or capitalist looking for an excuse to turn the other way
Your dad's cousin is your aunt. I am from a family of plain boring white people and my kids call my wife's cousins who live around here and they see all the time "aunt/uncle." This is not even some "see, in other cultures," thing this is just a total normal thing they are presenting as scandalous

Trump pardoning the guy who helped boost his family's crypto scheme is par for the course, but we can’t look away.

He’s abusing his power again and again to enrich himself and his family.

The most corrupt president in history — and it’s not even close.
Trump pardons crypto billionaire Changpeng Zhao
The pardon marks the latest example of the abrupt U-turn Washington has taken on digital assets since Trump's inauguration.

The first time I paid $60 for a game I got mad for like 2 minutes, then realized it made sense, because I'm an adult. I'd paid the same price for games for a decade, and prices of a quality product will naturally increase with inflation
AAA video games should cost $100 on launch. this would still be extremely cheap for the amount of time and enjoyment you get out of them! But an audience of whiny babies has kept them literally at the same price for *two decades* despite both general inflation *and* sector-specific costs rising

I was a young white man in a rural area where the unfamiliar would expect this sort of phase to be normal. I can assure you I nor my friends had a Nazi phase. I'm sure some did, but I wasn't friends with them, and there was likely a reason for that.
this also drives me insane, this idea that it is the most normal thing in the world for a young (white) man to have a nazi curious phase. it isn’t!

At this point it doesn't even matter what the files say. The delay and hiding of the files has likely convinced people Trump is guilty. If there's anything to learn from things like the Benghazi Hearings, it's that the constant association of two things will sink in and just start to feel 'true'
This is a key talking points that should be echoed everyday by Democrats and ties directly to the Epstein Files, which is Trump's Achillese Cankle.

Why aren't Republicans swearing Rep Grijalva???
Jeffries says Dems "have made clear privately and publicly" to Mike Johnson that Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.) must be sworn in.

"Why the delay?" he asks. "Does it have anything to do with Republicans continuing effort to hide the Epstein files from the American people?"

@alsobrooks.senate.gov @vanhollen.senate.gov, this happened blocks from my house. How can you justify funding a government that does this to it's own people?

I'm pleading with you, please help fight back against the way these people are destroying our country.
Video below: “I am American. I am American.” A man pleads, “Ayúdame, ayúdame. Help me!”

Meanwhile, an ICE officer pulls a gun on innocent bystanders — in Hyattsville, MD. This is happening in America. Right now.

What are we doing about this? It MUST stop. @SenateDems @HouseDemocrats

Sounds like a good reason to shut down the government
What Trump said is a fucking outrage.

It’s against democracy.

If Donald Trump has his way on this, our democracy is over.
September 18, 2025 at 11:17 PM
Get um
Let me just say a simple thing.

Democrats have no obligation to provide the votes to fund the destruction of our democracy.

If you want my vote for a bipartisan budget, there need to be protections to stop Trump's brazen lawlessness.
September 18, 2025 at 6:19 PM
On top of this, there's a clear pattern of Trump backing down when challenged, and plowing forward when given no resistance.

Even token resistance could be useful, and, it would make democratic voters happy with leadership!
it’s fascinating. majorities of americans oppose the military occupation of cities. a substantial number of those are fucking furious about it, but rather than lean into this anger and attack trump’s perception of strength, these “strategists” want democrats to avoid the confrontation entirely.
There it is folks. The brilliant Dem strategy, according to the genius pundits with the ear of Dem leadership, is to let Trump keep doing everything he's doing but only if we can also help Republicans avoid paying a political price for hurting people long enough to hold the House and Senate in 2026
