It shows how astroturfed the whole thing is. Right wing political projects are basically never grassroots. Rich assholes have to fund groups to blast these beliefs into people's heads non-stop for years just to get enough support for it.
Seeing how much of the right-wing on Twitter is just bot farms, kinda lays bare how much hate and hatred is a project that needs to be constantly maintained, a fire that needs to be fed all the time lest it go out for a moment, so much time, effort, and resources to keep people angry and hateful.

In a time of slop, AI or not, it’s time to lean into niche communities and odd work by passionate weirdos with well-honed clarity of intention and craft
This is so relevant to my day-to-day thinking at @hubcitypress.bsky.social. instead of being demoralized and saying, let AI do all the publishing work and pump out more slop to boost sales, our new focus is carefully curated + clearly human created. Hence the focus on short stories, novellas, etc.

Just watched Galaxy Quest with my pals. I absolutely LOVED it, and enjoyed it even more than when I first saw it like 25 years ago. Absolutely worth watching! It's hilarious, clever, well-cast and acted, and has shockingly good costumes and special effects
