Saw this in an insufferable FB thread of reactions to four U.S. citizens being arrested by ICE. This is a random guy, making a point that used to be more common among the right-wing, but should inspire us all. Anyway, it gave me hope.

I get that woke is dead and all—but could we at least do *grammatically correct* pronouns? I get that most people with “immense power” have a “himself”—but at least 51% of us Regular People actually do not.

Idk that there’s a problem. The momentum has been very slowly toward blue, with things getting just a little closer each wave election. At this rate, I think it could be in swing territory in another couple cycles—meaning 8 years from now.

UPDATE: my mom and her sign. (She thought “GTFO, TACO!” was a little too profane for the people of Hondo, Texas. But somehow the F word still made it into her sign! 😂) I’m about to head out to the SF protest to meet up with my sister and her nurse’s union. So proud of everyone today!

Aww so cute! I got one off Craigslist and it’s taken about 9 months for my cat to figure out what she likes about it, which is mostly to ride it like a sea saw while I rock her back and forth. And also of course: napping.
