1 - Are you fighting to get big money out of elections, redistribute wealth and power to benefit regular people, and cement a durable multicultural working class majority against fascism?
2 - What are you doing to help candidates flip seats?

I mean this is not new material for him or them.

My guess is he’s having conversations day and night trying to prevent mutiny, promising all kinds of favors, bigger offices, committee assignments, etc. And he didn’t have enough goodies to make supporting a pedophile attractive, so he looked weak and that’s the beginning of the end of his reign.

My cats come when I call and can do tricks—but we could be just vibin on the couch and they’re staring at me and of I say their name, they immediately lose interest and stare off into the distance. WHY?!

I am pretty familiar with Gaines County, TX, and what I have heard from medical professionals on the ground is that there’s a real mistrust of government among the Mennonite population, coupled with what could be described as an autodidactic culture—just the breeding ground for MAHA.

This exactly. I have worked as a manager in state government for the last three years & have hired about a dozen people in that time. Recently, the number of qualified, experienced job candidates applying for roles beneath their skill set is quite shocking. A recession is coming.

Oh you are saying because of *policymakers’* “desire to imprint aesthetic preferences on them”. That was not clear to me.

While this is true, some motives for opposition are definitely reasonable. Key among those are infrastructure concerns. No one wants more traffic or overburdened schools. And there are often no guarantees when a big apartment building goes in that local gov is going to expand roads or schools.

Well a lot of these boxy new apartment buildings look the way they do because it was what was cheapest. There are certainly aesthetic choices made along the way, but developers are in business, not the arts.

The one exception I can think of was in iPad that was provided to my nephew—who has childhood apraxia of speech. It had pictures on buttons that he could tap to communicate. It helped a little, but not as much as learning to sign.

I’ve had some great work husbands, TBH. One is still a good friend 8 years later. But I also don’t take shit. And my husband/partner is better about knowing what’s in the fridge than i am (though we DO have a “scissors issue”, ahem)

How do they think this immigration crackdown is going to improve that? Because historically, when people get driven underground they are a LOT more vulnerable to trafficking and coercion—and sexual assault.

Also I would like a how-to guide on this phone hoarding thing because mine have been breaking annually like clockwork for the last three years, and it is getting expensive. My last phone was bought new in April and just died last Thursday.
