i hate (some) british teenagers. there was a group of teenage boys just standing around outside the cinema entrance legit just blocking the path. to get past them i accidentally nudged the sign outside the cinema with my foot and they were like 'ooo sorry doris' really nastily for some reason.

i'm watching a found footage movie on tubi (They're Watching) and i'm sort of interested in seeing where it goes, but also it's one of those FF movies that has music which... ehhh i'm really not a fan.

started working on a latch hook pattern based on danny torrance's apollo 11 sweater because i can't knit so why not latch hook it instead. it's taking a lot of trial and error to make it work but it's getting there!!

i've made a lot of progress on my latest latch hook cushion kit (courtesy of craft club, though i don't think they're selling this design anymore). it's so cute and my favourite cushion i've done so far!!

i have an old t-shirt from redbubble that i don't wear anymore because the print is looking awful on it and it's of a show i don't watch anymore. so i'm thinking of cutting up the fabric of the t-shirt into star shapes and sewing them onto jeans.

made some progress on my muppet treasure island one-shot!! it turns out that even when i think i'm not in the mood to write, odds are i can force myself to write a decent sentence and the rest will come flooding out.

managed to guess a Freida McFadden twist. it only took me three books to learn how! i don't like her books beyond having a quick, entertaining-enough read but i detest her twists especially. i have no idea why she is so lauded in the book community, but i guess booktok is into CoHo, so... #booksky

i'm reading a book published in 2021 and i can't tell if the hints of fatphobia are coming from the author or from the character. because it's so easy to justify it as a character choice to show a character being harsh/judgemental. but i'm not far enough in the book to be sure.

i've been a big fan of the lovers to enemies dynamic for a while, presumably in part because i'm a child of divorce, but mostly because it's fascinating to see.
There’s so many enemies to lovers stories. People are sleeping on lovers to enemies. People need to realize the sick pleasure that comes from seeing intimate affection transform into intimate loathing. Two people who loved each other trying to kill the other, knowing they can never go back
