Enby, artist, poet, tree-hugger, wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving... "Ours is no caravan of despair. Even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come." --Jelaluddin Rumi
Grateful that my spouse (in the midst of routine grocery shopping) asked if we could detour through the flower aisle, encouraging me to add to the basket. The $3 pots of mini roses (which transplant well) turned out to also fit perfectly in the Ikea hanging metal planters we had.

I was so glad that four of these rattan (?) elephants were sponsored to stay in Hermann Park since I missed the whole herd while it was exhibited here.

Kept the onion and cabbage skins to dye eggs and was wowed by the results.

I saw a quotation on a teabag: “Earth laughs in flowers.” Must’ve been a funny joke this year - our neighborhood is dripping with blooms.

Weird art in weird times makes me feel more normal. I was happily affected 🤯 today learning about a @ligaspunde.bsky.social exhibit, “A Panic Attack on a Sunny Day” ligaspunde.com/A-Panic-Atta... so perfect: the spiky comic book shadows, the anthropomorphic oranges, lenticular flickery eyes…👌🏻

The Word of the Day Is Widdershins by Jennifer Blackledge - Rattle: Poetry

which sounds fun and elfin, like that
dance that leprechauns do, hobnail boots
clicking with glee or maybe something a
confused rabbit in coattails might say
when he’s lost ...

Ok, turns out Blue Sky likes posts short and sweet ~ 300 words or fewer. Too limited to share my FB post of the day, wherein I pondered “forgive” as an alternative to fight, flight, fawn, or freeze as life stress comes at us head-on. At the very least, forgive calms flipping out. 🕊️

I really like the ease of clicking “Following” to see a feed of posts from only the people I wandered over here to keep in touch with. I don’t know if that is a common feature on other social media apps, but if you’re feeling overwhelmed or disoriented as a fellow Bluesky newbie, it might help!

Friends of #bluesky. I’m in the studio recording a new album. Here is another single I released several years ago, “The Coffee’s Gone Cold”. Will you help me share my music or photography with a repost? #music #singersongwriter #Coffee

I’ve been slow to add content, but I look forward to re-friending all my people if this platform succeeds. And, we all recall the precedent in the famous case of Tortoise v. Hare 🏆🐢
