& ultramarine blue on top, as colours very much opposed to each other on the wheel, get the picture off to a very zingy start. you'll see hardly any of the orange when it's done, but it will be enough to do its thing

finally started on making this painting. I'm using one of a bunch of used canvases given to me - they were worked by someone while he was learning to paint & I love how the original image will just show through a bit in hints when finished. Starting w a flourescent orange ground...

This is what is says on the tin, but also: paying artists, creatives, producers & crew fairly & on time would deflate the false profit margins of *every* creative industry. Paying workers fairly wd "kill" industry *as an endless profit machine*. Not defending AI, saying this problem is baked in.

I'm sure if you thought about it for 3 seconds you'd know that setting up a kickstarter would mean getting a lot of spam, but please be aware that some of the spammers make their emails look *exactly* like KS official emails - it's the most competent spam I've seen. be careful!

Bluesky are resharing this after they revealed yesterday that every photo uploaded here is sent to an external company that is selling GenAI services.

Note that none of them are actually confirming that none of these images are being used by that external company to train their systems.
