A simple "please" or "thank you" response of a query costs OpenAI millions in prompt costs. That's crazy. Imagine the actual costs of people chatting up ChatGPT as conversation. As Eric points out this is just point of use cost. Total expense includes training and more.

My beef with AI is not with AI. It is with our corporate tyranny and oppression overlords cramming AI down our throats, rush to put AI into everything without testing.

The people running the this world are as dumb as Trump. Proof is they are betting trillions on AI and the end results they are betting on are unproven and unknown. You can't even call it a long shot because the risk is unknown.
