Reminder, Democracy is dead precisely because it is founded on hierarchy. Hierarchy that necessarily is corrupt because power and resources are managed by the one or the few at the hierarchy top.

This is why we should skip fixing it and jump to mesh with no hierarchy.

The President is a dictator until he is removed from office. At least according to the Supreme Court. He can't be arrested. People have to ignore him, the so called deep state. In a sane world he would have been removed long ago. Unitary Executive.
Is trump going to attack Venezuela without Congress's approval??? He has to have Congress's approval to start a war doesn't he??? That's the law!!!

Too big to fail, established by Obama, is now a business strategy. This gov bailout push defines Crypto and AI. More to come until the gov does its job and lets banks fail.

Just a reminder Obama ushered in "too big to fail".

AI as a "too expensive to own" rich privilege is a mirror of Crypto private currency in that they both need to achieve "too big to fail" bailout immortality status to survive.

The rich use this cursed scheme to oppress us.

...and the soldiers carried out these orders.

If we are serious about the military following lawful orders then everyone involved gets court martialed.
🧵A legal scholar finds the killing by special forces of survivors in the Navy attack on an alleged drug boat to be a war crime and murder.

"the currently governing DOD Manual in Section 5.9 states clearly that persons “placed hors de combat may not be made the object of attack.” ...
A Dishonorable Strike
Indulging all assumptions in favor of the administration’s boat strikes, killing helpless men is murder

A simple "please" or "thank you" response of a query costs OpenAI millions in prompt costs. That's crazy. Imagine the actual costs of people chatting up ChatGPT as conversation. As Eric points out this is just point of use cost. Total expense includes training and more.

My beef with AI is not with AI. It is with our corporate tyranny and oppression overlords cramming AI down our throats, rush to put AI into everything without testing.

AI violates the "first things first" directive. If tech can't get the simple things correct then it certainly isn't going to get AI correct. So instead of optimizing productivity it is just get in the way.
*~sigh*~ We have AI but my spell checker doesn't have "turmeric" or "microbes".

A huge uncanny valley in this AI dump is that there is so much wrong with existing technology that needs to be fixed first.

AI is compounding the amount of broken tech stuff we face everyday. Why!

"Call your Congress people."

What's really annoying is that:
1. Billions in bribes versus a phone call. Get real.
2. Equivalent to "thoughts and prayers".

The ACAB cops kill over a thousand a year and that number is rising. Plus, tip of the iceberg applies because cops don't self-report their shootings.
