I would be disappointed because the BBC, in my opinion, failed to confirm that these idents to be aired tomorrow rather than Sunday. I hope next year they will choose Saturday from 2026 onwards.

I would be highly disappointed if the BBC did consider new Christmas idents next year.

Or else I can ask the BBC for a comment on whenever it would introduce a new set of Christmas identity next year after 8 years.

1978, sounds interesting to me. I think he's been one of the long-running continuity announcers on the BBC for years no matter if it's in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.

Tomorrow night our friend and colleague David Olver will do his last TV Continuity shift at BBC Northern Ireland before a well-deserved retirement. He's been an announcer since *January 1978* and while few will know his name, his voice is known to multiple generations of our viewers.
