I have another one ready to be quilted. Another Geisha panel from Lonni Rossi. This one was tougher. The fans were difficult so, I used fabric paint. Added beads. There's machine embroidery on this one, too. I still have one more panel. She has a parasol. I may need an intervention....

So many women and children in the USA are already subjected to complete patriarchal control. As a young Amish woman I had zero rights.

Millie's Dresses is my first finish of the year. I posted when I got the top done. I sent it away to be quilted, by MSQC. They did a great job ! I needed it bigger, so I added borders using the quilt as you go method. Pleased to be sewing.

I think a lot of the folks remaining on X think that you need MAGA faithful in the mix or else it's an echo chamber. I have no problem being in a place where people hate my politics but agree that Donald Trump is an existential threat to American democracy.
I follow people like @sykescharlie.bsky.social @billkristol.bsky.social @davidfrum.bsky.social @walshfreedom.bsky.social @adamkinzinger.bsky.social @radiofreetom.bsky.social on Bluesky but sure, it’s a left-wing echo chamber.

You cannot argue with people who think this way. Offers up her abortion rights and those of her daughter to Trump on a platter, but maybe someone should explain to her that there hasn't been a draft in more than 50 years and no one is going to send her son anywhere.
