Stuckey normalizes militant politics as “Christian,” while protecting the faithful from feeling un-Christlike.

It's slimy.

If a Christian celebrates a government actively harming people they consider enemies, it SHOULD make them uncomfortable.

The purpose of her post is clearly to squash any cognitive dissonance that bubbles up for followers of the faith when the government talks openly about "destroying our enemies," which contradicts the religion's golden rule of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

She's essentially saying: "Don't worry! You're still a good Christian even though you hate those who look different or hold different political beliefs. You merely SUPPORT politicians harming these people—you didn't personally inflict the harm—so keep that hatred burning without guilt!”

The mental gymnastics of Christian Nationalism is astounding in how awful it is.

Allie Stuckey offers her audience comfort in their complicity, allowing them to hate others, even though their scripture tells them to do the opposite.

Stuckey's post on X that reads: "There was a big contrast between Erika's forgiveness speech and Stephen Miller's
"destroy our enemies" speech. Exactly as it should be. It is our job to forgive, not the government's. Christians give grace; the government wields the sword (Romans 13). We turn the other cheek; the government punishes evil."

So out of curiosity I wanted to see if the Watergate Hotel from the Nixon scandal is still around (it is).

And I saw they have a “scandal suite” for the room from the scandal and I shit you not one of the robes in the robe for guests to wear says “cover up” with the watergate logo.

Oooh yes! I had a similar experience in Catholic Church as a kid with communion and I asked if they really thought the little white cloth the priest used to wipe the lip of the cup after each person drank would actually get rid of germs.
