Post from Threads: What’s the craziest thing an ex did that you never quite got over? I’ll go first… He had pet birds that he’d let fly around his apartment. One night as he was cooking dinner, one of the finches flew into the cupboard and landed in the hot grease on the stove. My ex said, “oh, that sucks!” but proceeded to fry the bird & taste it when it was done. That was the last time I saw that man. 😭

I love a good fried/smothered cabbage. Fry the cabbage in bacon fat (or salt pork, turkey bacon, etc) with onions and garlic and seasonings. Add a tiny bit of chicken broth and cook until it’s tender and most of liquid is evaporated. Or if you like it with more liquid make some cornbread to soak up

You know Xxxxx has a PJ that our CEO xxxx owns and anybody on my new position level and above with those teams use. So it wasn’t just me on the plane it was my main boss and a few other ppl within my region on. My sleep schedule has been fucced since I’ve flown out I ain’t been there specifically ever until then and my first time in the EU with company was to visit mills In italy like 2yrs ago. That’s how I even got bacc earlier than what HR was quoting as a leave date.

Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. They’re allowed to take only a knapsack and a little cash with them, and even then, they’re robbed of these possessions on the way. Families are torn apart; men, women and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared. Women return from shopping to find their houses sealed, their families gone.
