Dems have been punching left and drifting right for decades, and every time someone says "okay bye" there's a lecture waiting for them about how they just need to wait for incrementalism that'll totally kick in any moment now. If you think the guy is so easily electable, why bother scolding people?

I'd also add that I don't care if a Dem becomes "electable" by being indistinguishable from a Reagan Republican. That's not a victory.
