This is highly antithetical to the founding principals of the United States and hearing it from a sitting president is actually insane. Checks and balances are essential to democracy, not obstacles to overcome to "save" it. Of course he's not really trying to save it, is he?

This could almost make sense if you just fully redefined a few words... But last I checked those words haven't been redefined and yet this is still a quote.

I grew up in Alaska and Mount McKinley was always a weird name, been calling it Denali my whole life and have no intentions of stopping now.
