Thrilled to be teaching #BuiltEnvironment & Health at U of T!

Thanks to @penalosag.bsky.social of @880cities.bsky.social for his talk on #healthycities

3 takeaways:
1️⃣ Design for dignity + solutions
2️⃣ Change can be fast with political will
3️⃣ Get a seat at the table (or risk being “on the menu”)

Thought-provoking paper on who is publishing #health inequalities #research in the UK. To truly move the needle on health #inequities globally, we need more diverse voices contributing to these important conversations both inside & from outside of academia.

Enjoyed a seminar with @nadhahassen.bsky.social about "Social Connection and Access in Cities"

One of the topics raised was how some community members in the studied (and racialized) areas in Toronto wondered why their public green spaces were more likely to incorporate golf or tennis than cricket.

Thanks so much for joining today Diego and for sharing your thoughts!
