Always feels good when art directors approve a bunch of sketches to go forward. Five just in the last couple days! *whew* Illustration is (mostly) unrelated to post, but a different sort of victory in figuring out how to quickly create planets in Blender.

Cometary globules are gas clouds with dusty heads and tails, often forming stars. The rupture in CG4’s head is unexplained, and the nearby galaxy is unrelated.

Just took a walk outside as passing rain cleared off to offer a nice view of the night sky! 🤩
I could easily see #Orion, The #Hyades cluster forming the head of #Taurus, with #Jupiter above, and the bright #Moon!
