Just recently, he was very funny in THE RESIDENCE, one of my favorite shows of the year. Plus THE WIRE, obviously, plus a *lot* of trips to the Law & Order universe, and on and on. A fabulous, versatile presence.

Hated P.T. Anderson’s One Battle After Another. Tired of American tropes of nihilistic, eroticized violence. why is this movie lauded? Stylistically terrible with a blaring, obtrusive soundtrack and poor editing. A mediocre mess. #OneBattleAfterAnother
