the overwhelming degree of unfettered evil that the past few years has revealed in all institutions of the world has done a real number on me. I never thought any of them were paragons of morality, but I somehow had an idea there were levels they wouldn’t stoop to.
Israel is using Microsoft Azure to store recordings of every phone call made by Palestinians in the occupied territories, then using AI to analyze the contents and select targets. Microsoft is (dubiously) claiming ignorance.

Went to see Hadestown the musical. At the end the guy seated next to us stood up, declared "I WEPT" and left, which I feel is an fine summary of the show
