i'm at an #ebike impass. i toyed with a cheaper one 5 years ago. then i decided to build one: huge battery, mid-drive motor with gears, using a name-brand mountain bike as the donor.
it's been two years & i hate it now. it's the "right size" but it's like getting on a horse. no quick trips either.
