I don't know if it's the DSA specifically, I don't think a lot of people have even really heard of the DSA, although they don't do a good job of tackling racism, that much is true. If I were to guess it's more just the perception, not even an unwarranted one, that progressives are way too white.

I'm going to add to the voices of the many people here who may be strangers to you, but know that you matter to me. You've been a major trans voice online since I realized I was trans, which was a dark time for me, and your very existence helped me feel like there was light at the end of the tunnel.

yeah so like in terms of safety this is still basically objectively the incorrect choice, it barely even matters what the FAA does currently when there's all these existing safety measures for planes in place. There's just more high publicity for incidents now.
