Local theater is auditioning for a contemporary Opera soon and I’m running into the classic trans-theater-performer problem of “every part I CAN sing I likely won’t be cast as because I’m a baritone and the only baritone parts are for 50+ year old fathers and I am 5ft tall/in my mid 20s”
