we're not soft delicate babies who can't handle complicated political conversations (and we certainly are not without THOUSANDS of other outlets to hear shitty people's opinions!)

this is just a boundary, so we can live our lives and post our memes in peace

I simply do not give a single flying fuck about any thinkpiece on “echo chambers” or “hearing dissenting viewpoints” or “bluesky doesn’t have enough friction” written by the kind of people for whom the constantly, daily wear of that friction over years and years didn’t erode their spirits
