I'm not actually criticizing teachers. I know essays are a ton of work to grade. I've just been reading over personal statements from people applying to grad school and its clear none of them know what a thesis statement is.

Not being able to write a basic essay at the grad school level? Something is definitely missing from the undergrad program. Perhaps graded on information/ ideas criteria while ignoring structure & little feed back as to how to improve.

As a retired teacher, I need to say essays need to read, corrections noted & evaluated for a grade. Sometimes discussion 1 on 1 with students. At times, I had 30 students in my class X 4 blocks.

Serious psychosis = SCOTUS upcoming decision on tariffs. No tariffs will pull the financial plug on his swamp & break the sword he swings to threaten the world. In particular 🇨🇦, with its leftist government & resolve not to sign a ‘deal’. How could the insignificant, dependent 🇨🇦 win the tariff war?

The Coastal First Nations won’t let it happen. From what I am reading, it seems like the MOU was the only way Alb & Sask would agree to just the new w-e power grid. I suspect the grid is needed for mine development & development in the Far north. Info bites definitely don’t provide the whole pic.

PM Carney is waging large political risk to silence Smith, PP et al to truely understand why a pipeline can’t be built. I also believe Trump $ are behind Smith et al to create a 🇨🇦 Lib govern rupture, failure, giving Trump a space to crawl into & further reasoning for 51st. Trump hates the left.

Absolutely. Smith got booed at the UCP conference. So only Smith is declaring victory. I don’t believe that this is about a pipeline but removing the ‘9 bad laws’. IMHO I think Trump $ are behind this, creating chaos, a fracture in the Libs, & a ruptured space he can crawl & further 🇨🇦 to 51. 🤨 MO
