It is worth noting that Matt Gaetz pulled out of AG consideration, not because fellow Republicans told him they couldn't support someone who raped and gave drugs to underage girls, but because CNN told him that more accusations were forthcoming.

Apparently, having any qualms about middle-age men drugging and raping underage children makes you a RINO.

When Trump's new nominee for AG Pam Bondi was Florida's AG, she was investigating Trump University for fleecing students with fraudulent promises. Trump sent her a $25,000 bribe (from his charitable foundation, which was another crime) to drop the investigation. She did.
