I feel this deeply. Last night I had to remind mine that "we are a 'butts inside our pants' family."

Every day it's a new sentiment I've never before put to words.

Literally slept thru the last hour. Dull as paint.

I have one person shopped for, and 4 weeks for inspiration to hit me over the head for everyone else in my life.

She's also got some weird bioessentialist (and adjacent) content infesting her entire work.

My family lives on a farm hours from nowhere next to one of my cousins' farms. The cousin across the way has helpfully informed my dad that the pumphouse below their house is haunted by two guys in overalls. No exorcisms yet because the pump still works. I figure they must be maintenance ghosts.

And of course it was a stancil thread. Egh.

The problem is it's not properly managed as a utility. Starlink is the only service in my home zip that isn't effectively dial up. That is non functional. It's fine for folks with alternatives to take a hard stance, but it's harder when this is the primary access they have to the wider world.
