@leahlitman.bsky.social 1/2 Therapist here. Ethics regulate speech all the time. If a client asks for harmful treatment, we provide psychoeducation. AND we still help them explore distressing emotions.

@jdickerson.bsky.social @davidplotz.bsky.social Therapist here. What enrages me about the conversion therapy case is that the therapist is making her ideology more important than the needs of her clients. The client is the most important person in the room. my viewpoints need to be left outside.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
While progressives are stumbling over each other to express grief and outrage over the killing of CK, the Trump administration is devising a plan to weaponize it against them (us). #charliekirk #trump

I don’t need to be lectured about how cold blooded murder is bad, @timmiller.bsky.social & @sarahlongwell25.bsky.social. I can feel empathy for CK’s family & still believe that he was toxic & harmful to the US. Now he’s a martyr & his death will be weaponized against those already in peril. Gross.
