I work in an agency linked to Social Security. Going through the annual Information Security and Privacy training now. Yet Musk and his people are literally seizing control over privacy and security throughout the government... They do not answer to the citizens and have ZERO need-to-know.

Note to OPM staff: Personal items cannot be searched. If any attempt is made, demand legal representation. Personal devices you own are off-limits to these staffers. Also, do not leave personal items in the office overnight. Stay alert and cautious.

When my kids were little babies, my ex-husband used to take their food (treats, cookie, etc) and pretend to eat it, just so they could be happy and think he was generous when he gave it back to them. Good thing a whole online population is smarter than babies, right?
