Think you missed the bit where the eMotos are being ridden recklessly on bike paths and trails harming their riders and other people. Were someone to drive their car on those ways, there would be an outcry.

#Autobesity in all its forms is a scourge on the roads & life-threatening to pedestrians.

Govts need to ban their use on pedestrian ways and insist they be licensed like any motor vehicle.

My unpopular urbanist opinion is that big, hyperfast two-wheelers are a menace and should be banned from bike lanes/paths (with enforcement).

These things endanger everyone riding a bike or legal e-bike. Worse, they deter some from even trying.

E-bikes have evolved into e-motorcycles. Law enforcement is lagging behind.

Serious injuries are on the rise in emergency rooms around the country, as electric cycles become bigger and faster. Lawmakers and police departments are scrambling to address the problem.

Over 1100 people bent out of shape that the earlier place name supplanted the later place name. And even though they were all consulted at the time – which the original inhabitants were not – they want to relitigate the name change in their favour.

Ireland just released a report showing the huge success of the unconditional basic income it provided to artists. Each $1 spent led to society gaining $1.39. Artists' earned incomes went up more than their side job incomes fell. And they were happier and used less welfare
