For some reason FB has decided to show me skateboarding videos every time I open the app and you know, I'm here for it.

The Fed will probably hike, while I don't think it should.

But what happens at the end of the year if we have inflation ~3% and unemployment <4%? That still suggests a much longer terminal rate than markets are predicting.

Twice daily: open up Threads, scroll for ten seconds, wince and close the app.

Ah, the drunken 2 a.m. phone call professions of love to a very-unamused girlfriend, followed by taking all of your clothes off and walking around the living room while a party is hopping...

Oh wait, just me?
I really feel like Jonah Hill is a victim of the time. In MY day you made your completely unhinged confession/demands on your improbably-hotter girlfriends during drunken phone calls or petulant in-person conversations, not in writing.

The only food poisoning I've ever gotten from pizza came from a Jet's. Took the whole family out.

But it was delicious.
Is it safe for me to say on this forum that I love Jet's Pizza? Like, when we couldn't get pick-up last night from Spacca Napoli, a fancy pizza place with burrata and whatnot, I was secretly happy to pivot to this magnificent, garlic-crusted, deep-dish trash pizza?

In the middle of Denver suburbia and the hotel charges a daily fee for parking in its (massive) surface lot. Respect the grift.

The current experience of browsing Facebook does not instill much hope that Threads will be a usable product.

PAST LIVES is the kind of film that says so much more in its liminal spaces than in the dialogue among its lead trio. We live in-between what we say to each other, and rarely is that captured with such clarity...and aching.

Joining the mass exodus of jilted Twitter lovers, I suppose.
